Kate Middleton and Prince William do normal things when holidaying with their kids.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge love to enjoy quality time with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis on holidays. According to an insider, the royal couple do normal things with their kids when they are on vacation.

“They love going up to Anmer Hall where they’ll do normal things, like watch movies together, grill on the BBQ, play board games and have family football matches. Despite their background, William and Kate are incredibly down to earth” the source told Us Weekly.

Since Prince William and Middleton’s eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte are in school, the duchess has more “me time.” She now has the time to treat herself.

“Kate has more ‘me time’ and will work out, do the grocery shopping and catch up on any backlog of work. [She] treats herself to pampering sessions – whether it be a mani-pedi or new highlights,” the source continued.

Just recently, an old photo of Prince William and Middleton during their honeymoon has resurfaced. In the snap, the duchess is wearing a black bandeau neck tie bikini with gold embellishment. She holds hands with Prince William who wears printed shorts.

According to reports, the photo was taken in 2011 during their honeymoon in Seychelles. However, it was only shared publicly a year after which prompted some royal fans to wonder when it was really taken.

It has been eight years since Middleton joined the royal family and many noticed that the duchess underwent a major transformation. A well-placed source likened Middleton to the finest of wines that take years to mature to perfection.

Middleton has no peers on the global stage, but she now has the aura of a confident and driven woman with a purpose. Back then, many saw how she doubted herself despite all of her assets. At present, she is more relaxed and has become a “force to be reckoned with.”
