Not only is Laurie Hernandez an Olympic gold medalist, she is also the champion of “Dancing With the Stars.” The gymnast took home the coveted Mirrorball trophy with partner Val Chmerkovskiy in the Season 23 finale Tuesday.

This is the second time Chmerkovskiy won. The first time was with actress Rumer Willis in Season 20.

Chmerkovskiy, 30, gushed over Hernandez, 16. “I can’t stop kissing her! Just like the millions of people watching her at home, I can’t stop squeezing her so I am definitely going to miss her,” the Ukrainian-American dancer told reporters after the finale.

But they won’t be a part for long. Hernandez signed on to be a dancer on the “DWTS” tour. “I am excited that she is going on tour with us, and she will continue to be with the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ family, and we love to have her!” he said.

Hernandez is no stranger to winning. She had a medal-winning stint at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

“It felt amazing,” Hernandez said about the win on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Wednesday. “There was a lot that went on, but I’m so grateful.”

“I just want to thank everyone for their support and riding along this crazy roller coaster of my life,” Hernandez continued. “My goal is just to inspire others as I go on with my journey and thanks for being there for me.”

Chmerkovskiy was also thankful to the fans. “Thank you so much!” he said. “To all the kids out there, you don’t have to wait to grow up to change the world. Be great. You’re the future. Thank you so much!”

The gymnast celebrated her win with cookies and cream ice cream, People Magazine added.
