Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently snubbed Prince Philip.

Last Sunday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out to enjoy their family time. Prince Harry and Markle took their son Archie at The Rose & Crown in Winkfield Berkshire.

However, the couple’s outing was taken as an apparent snub to Prince Philip because a pub named after the Duke of Edinburgh was only yards away down the road where the Sussexes ate.

Prince Harry and Markle stayed at the restaurant for two hours. The Duke of Sussex had a couple of pints of beer. Meanwhile, the former “Suits” star chose to stick to water. The royal couple was reportedly watched by two protection officers.

“They were on a table with, I presume, a private secretary. Meghan was cradling Archie most of the time. The little lad was as good as gold, I didn’t hear him cry once while he was there,” the onlooker told The Sun.

The businessman who saw Prince Harry and Markle added that the staff had clearly recognized the royals but kept a low-key service. He was convinced that Prince Harry and Markle had been there before and just like any normal couple, they were reportedly laughing a lot.

“After the controversy they have been attracting they were getting their feet back on the ground with pub grub like millions of ordinary folk - and it was nice to see,” the insider added.

In related news, Prince William and Kate Middleton already made their split from Prince Harry and Markle official by removing the Sussexes from their charity’s name. However, royal expert Phil Dampier said that the split was a “massive mistake.” He also added that the fab four seemed to be pitting against each other personally and professionally.

Prince Harry and Markle took a jibe against the Cambridges when Prince Harry said he only wants two kids when Prince William already has three. Markle threw shade at Middleton when she said she didn’t want to appear on a magazine cover because it would look “boastful” when the Duchess of Cambridge did it just three years ago. The Cambridges also took a swipe at the Sussexes by taking a commercial flight amid the criticisms Prince Harry and Markle received for flying on private jets.

Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle won’t be spending the summer with Queen Elizabeth II in Balmoral together. The Cambridges had already left before the Sussexes’ scheduled arrival in Scotland.
