Queen Elizabeth’s favorite child is rumored to be Prince Andrew.

Now, a royal fan also claimed that Her Majesty’s schedule in Balmoral may confirm that she has a special relationship with the Duke of York.

On the online forum site Quora, Chris Smith, a retired high school history teacher, said that whenever Her Majesty is in Balmoral, she makes it a point to visit her relatives.

“The Queen starts with the Yorks as the first week of her stay at the castle coincides with Beatrice’s birthday. She invites Sarah to join her as well for these few days so that Sarah can also be with Beatrice for her birthday,” Smith said.

The monarch reportedly leaves Balmoral after the first weekend with the Yorks to spend time with the younger members of the royal family. The children of the senior royals have to return to school in September, so the Queen makes it a point to bond with them.

“Those with non-school aged children are invited up in September and this year that will include Harry and Meghan - probably for Harry’s birthday. Charles and Camilla are there throughout most, if not all, of this time but they don’t stay at Balmoral… Just as William has Anmer Hall on the Sandringham estate as s home so Charles has Birkhall on the Balmoral estate and he stays there,” he said.

The Queen will also invite friends and other less well-known families — such as cousins from her mother’s side and some of Philip’s relatives to spend some time with them — as they do at Sandringham.

After vacationing in Balmoral, the Queen usually returns to London in September to attend to her royal duties and engagements. Since her husband, Prince Philip, is already retired, the Duke of Edinburgh is left at home in Sandringham.

The royal couple reportedly only gets to spend time with each other every other week due to the Queen’s busy schedule.
