How Will Kate Middleton Spend First Mother’s Day With Son Prince Louis?

Kate Middleton will be celebrating her first Mother’s Day with Prince Louis.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Prince Louis last year and became a family of five. This year, it will be the first time for Middleton to celebrate Mother’s Day as a mom of three.

A Kensington Palace spokeswoman told Hello! that Middleton will be spending the day privately with her family. The Cambridges will reportedly spend the weekend and step into the Easter holidays together.

Middleton celebrated Mother’s Day last year as a mom of two. She was heavily pregnant with Prince Louis at the time. Just 12 days later, the family welcomed Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s youngest sibling.

Middleton already made her final royal engagement before the Easter break on Thursday when she headed to the Scouts’ headquarters at Gilwell Park. Princess Charlotte’s break started on Wednesday and Prince George’s on Friday. Both children aren’t due back until April 24, so they still have plenty of time to bond together especially in the run-up to Prince George’s first birthday. Prince William and Middleton welcomed Prince Louis on April 23 last year.

The family is expected to spend the holidays in their country house in Sandringham, Anmer Hall. The family regularly stays there during their children’s school holidays to enjoy more low-key outings. Reports have it that they also spent Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s half-term break there.

According to Daily Mail’s royal correspondent Rebecca English, Middleton was spotted with Prince George and Princess Charlotte in a luxury Norfolk hotel complex where they stayed for half an hour.

The trio enjoyed swimming. Prince George and Princess Charlotte were reportedly “impeccably behaved” as they practiced their diving skills. Middleton made their outing more fun by organizing little races for the two kids.

Both Prince William and Prince Louis were not seen during the outing. However, it was believed that they were in Norfolk, too.

In related news, Middleton celebrated Valentine’s Day with her youngest son, Prince Louis. The Duchess of Cambridge was photographed in black angle grazer jeans and New Balance puffer jacket as she walked Prince Louis around Kensington Palace Gardens that day.
