Prince William Will Be Furious If Meghan, Harry Name Baby After Diana

Prince William doesn’t want Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to name their baby after Princess Diana.

There are rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are having a baby girl. Betting odds suggest that Prince Harry and Markle might name their daughter after the late Princess of Wales.

Woman’s Day published a report claiming that Prince Harry and Markle are indeed having a girl and her name is “Diana.” However, the Duke of Cambridge is reportedly not impressed with the couple’s plan to pick “Diana” for their firstborn.

According to the report, Prince William wanted to name his daughter Princess Charlotte after his mom but only made it one of her middle names out of respect to their father as Prince Charles already has a new wife, Camilla Parker Bowles.

“William felt it would be a little unseemly given his dad has a new wife now, and chose to give his mum a more subtle nod,” a source told the publication.

“For Harry to go blaring in with the name Diana even though he knows William's feelings on the matter – especially given that all is not particularly well between the brothers – will only fuel the flames of their differences. It's clear that Harry doesn't care what William thinks anymore.”

In addition, Prince William could no longer stomach working with his brother and sister-in-law. The future king feels that Markle keeps on ignoring what he says. If ever the Duke and Duchess of Sussex name their baby Diana, it will be another incident of Markle “refusing to fall in line.”

Just recently, the palace announced that Prince Harry and Markle are splitting their household from Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be moving to Frogmore House in Windsor where they will raise their baby. Also, they will now be based at Buckingham Palace. Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will stay at Kensington Palace.

Their separation was deemed as a result of their rumored feud. However, royal commentators believe that it was bound to happen. In fact, they said that Prince William and Prince Harry’s split should have happened earlier.
