The next action camera from GoPro, also referred to as the GoPro Hero 10, will feature a massive leap in image quality, among other things, if the latest leak is anything to go by.

The GoPro Hero 10 Black will reportedly focus on the fundamentals, according to a new set of information shared by the German site WinFuture. The unannounced next-generation action camera will reportedly house a new image processor.

The slow-motion capabilities of the GoPro Hero 10 Black would reportedly include support for 2.7 K video recording at 240 FPS, which means a more detailed slo-mo action shot. The site also shared several images of the upcoming action camera, which reveal a small front-facing display and a much larger rear screen.

The overall body appears to be unchanged and bears the bright blue branding. Moreover, the next-generation action camera will reportedly also have a high durability level.

This includes waterproof construction to a depth of almost 33 ft or 10 meters. Other rumored features of the GoPro Hero 10 Black include support to SuperPhoto and RAW images, HDR and voice control.

The device also features a webcam mode, TimeWarp 3.0 and touchscreen. While these details are interesting, GoPro has not yet announced the rumored device.

In fact, the company has not mentioned that there is a device with the name GoPro Hero 10 Black. As for the potential release of the rumored action camera,  the safest estimate consumers could get would be based on the series' launch pattern.

The GoPro Hero 9 was released in September 2020. This means fans could expect the device's announcement any day now with the possible launch happening next month.
