After a temporary break orchestrated by Epic Games, the game's publisher, the second chapter of Fortnite is now available. The hugely popular online multiplayer game has already won over 250 million players worldwide, according to the latest data released in March. As our infographic shows, Fortnite has experienced a meteoric rise since its release in the summer of 2017.

In January 2018, there were only 45 million players.
