In Season 3 of “iZombie,” Major (Robert Buckley) will start taking on characteristics from brains, and one of the first brains that he will be on next season is the brain of a belligerent teenage girl. In a new featurette for the show’s Season 3 premiere, The CW gives fans a glimpse of Major taking on the personality of a 14-year-old girl.

In the first scene, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) appears to be opening up to Major about the medical examiner’s issue with Peyton (Aly Michalka) and Blaine (David Anders). But because Major is on the brains of a teenage girl, the former zombie hunter’s comments don’t actually help.

“Is she the single most selfish person on the planet?” Major tells Ravi of Peyton. “She doesn’t deserve FaceTime with you. She slept with Blaine, which first of all, ‘ew’ and second of all I can’t even.”

In another scene, Liv (Rose McIver) asks where Major is going. “I have mercenary training. God!” Major replies like an annoyed adolescent.

When Liv reminds him not to text and drive, Major overreacts and yells: “Stop trying to control me!”

According to TVLine, Major will eat the brains of the teenage girl in Season 3, episode 2. Liv, meanwhile, will eat the brains of the girl’s dad in the same episode.

During the show’s panel at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in January, Buckley recalled the moment he first found out that he’s taking on the traits of a belligerent teen girl next season. “They had told me in the off-season, ‘We have a great episode for you. It’s perfect for you,’” Nerdist quoted Buckley as saying. “As an actor, that’s exciting, like is he going to be a cage fighter or a lothario? They were like, ‘No, for you, a 14-year-old teenage girl.’”

“It wasn’t a stretch at all. That’s just who I am,” the 35-year-old actor joked. “But then to try and balance Major who is quite a dude bro, he’s a man, with a 14-year-old girl, like be super hot but also freezing cold at the same time, it’s very challenging. It’s not easy at all.”

“iZombie” Season 3, episode 1, titled “Heaven Just Got a Little Smoother,” premieres on Tuesday, April 4 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
