Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughters are in the spotlight. Jana, Jinger and Joy-Anna Duggar have joined sisters Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald on TLC’s docuseries “Jill & Jessa: Counting On.” And as each Season 1 episode has highlighted the older Duggar offspring, Jana and Jinger have repeatedly been asked about their love lives.

Following Jinger’s episode of “Counting On” Tuesday, both she and Jana appeared in an aftershow interview on TLC. In it, the siblings were asked whether their married sisters’ lives have them imagining their own futures. While Jana, 26, remained completely silent on the subject, Jinger, 22, replied that she’s considered both marriage and babies.

“I think it’s really amazing seeing my sisters at that point, and at that stage is like, wow, a lot of responsibility, but still it’s so worth it,” Jinger said. “Establishing their own family, their own home, just that, it’s really sweet to see that and just hoping for the same years down the road when you have your own kid.”

For now, Jinger said she’s having fun spoiling her nieces and nephews. “I have plenty of siblings to shop for, and I love doing different styles to each one that’s unique to them ... I love shopping for the little ones. Everything’s cuter in a smaller size!”

Jinger said it’s easier being an aunt than being a big sister because she can hand off the babies to her siblings when the going gets tough. “You can just spent time with them and then pass them back to your sister when they get superfussy,” she said. “Those precious memories that we’re getting to build and watch them grow.”

While Jana did not address her own plans in the interview, she did discuss her future in “Counting On” episode 2. “I don’t really know what the next five years will look like. I mean, I guess in some ways you have hopes and dreams about, oh, maybe I’ll meet the one and get married and have kids and stuff,” she said.

While Jana confirmed she’s had interested suitors approach her, she hasn’t begun a courtship. “There have been different guys come along and ask but they haven’t been the right one,” she said. “I’m not just out to get married to the first one that comes along.”

Catch up with Jana, Jinger and the rest of the Duggar family on “Jill & Jessa: Counting On.” New episodes air on TLC Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT.
