Jennifer Aniston may have just dropped a subtle clue regarding the real status of her relationship with Brad Pitt.

Following the couple’s divorce in 2005, Aniston and Pitt have reportedly stayed as friends. And just recently, the two have also hung out with each other.

When Aniston celebrated her 50th birthday last year, Pitt reportedly attended her party. And on Sunday, the two were at the Golden Globes, even though they weren’t each other’s date at the awards show.

After the star-studded event wrapped up, Aniston liked a handsome-looking photo of Pitt that was posted by photographer Alexi Lubomirski on Instagram. The seemingly innocent gesture proves that Aniston and Pitt are really on good terms.

Fans of the couple can’t help but feel excited after they saw that Aniston liked her ex-husband's picture.

“@jenniferaniston liked this pic,” Instagram user @giveexpletivewisely said.

“Like by Jennifer Aniston,” Instagram user @babyxjen.il said.

“Am I the only one who’s happy when Jen liked this post?” Instagram user @newelf2017 said.

Meanwhile, Pitt and Aniston also showed their fans across the world just how great their friendship has become. During the actor’s acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, Pitt joked about being linked to every single woman that he’s photographed with.

And while he was talking about his alleged dating life, the cameras focused on Aniston, who is laughing hysterically at Pitt’s joke.

In related news, Aniston and Pitt’s relationship has not always been this peaceful. After their divorce, Pitt talked about his marriage to Aniston and suggested that he wasn’t happy during that time.

The interview reportedly didn’t sit well with the “Friends” star, and Pitt issued an apology shortly after.

“It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself – and that, I am responsible for,” Pitt said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
