  • Witherspoon shared via Instagram selfies of her and Aniston from the event

"Morning Show" co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon reunited over the weekend.

On Wednesday, the "Legally Blonde" actress, 46, shared on Instagram some adorable selfies of Aniston, 53, and herself on the yellow carpet of "The Morning Show" For Your Consideration panel, which was held Saturday.

"Always love seeing my girl @jenniferaniston @themorningshow," Witherspoon wrote in the caption, along with three revolving hearts emojis.

"Love YOU!" Aniston commented on her co-star's post, adding a red heart emoji.

The "Murder Mystery" actress also shared their photos on her Instagram Story, tagging Witherspoon and "The Morning Show."

"Reunited!" she captioned the post, along with a white heart and kissing emoji.

While speaking at the panel, Aniston revealed her desire to see her character, Alex Levy, find love in "The Morning Show" Season 3, according to People.

The actress said she wanted her character to "maybe try to find even a human connection, a love connection of some sort," adding: "I'd love to see how Alex is with intimacy- of not only just a female but of a male. Because that's something I think would be really clumsy, and I think it'd be really fun to explore that awkwardness of trying."

For the "Friends" alum, it was important to focus on Alex's vulnerability because the series had already shown how she built up her career. "I don't know how you put that, you know, armor down," Aniston said.

Back in September 2021, Witherspoon, who plays Alex's morning news co-anchor Bradley Jackson, discussed her and Aniston's fighting scenes in their Apple TV+ series during an interview with People.

While viewers saw explosive and combative scenes, the two longtime pals had fun filming them and often ended up laughing on set.

"I have to say, when we do our fighting scenes, it's really hard not to laugh and crack up, because we have to be so mean to each other," Witherspoon told the outlet. "We just love each other [so] much."

The "Big Little Lies" alum described Aniston as "one of the funniest people I've ever met" and praised her for her "perfect" joke delivery.

Aniston, for her part, said during a "Jimmy Kimmel Live" appearance that "it's always fun to fight with Reese."

"Because she's such a sweet burst of sunshine that she's, you know, not someone you wanna go scream your head off to," she continued. "And I usually always end up bursting into laughter at some point. It's just too hard to be that mad with each other. But we do it."
