Jennifer Garner Runs With Kids After Moving Into New Home Near Ben Affleck's

Jennifer Garner makes sure to keep herself fit by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and working out regularly. And the actress recently proved that she is in tip-top shape when she participated in a run with the three children she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck.

Garner was recently spotted joining in on a five-kilometer run with her children, Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 6, as well as their dog, Birdie. In photos released by Daily Mail, the "Love, Simon" actress had a big smile on her face all throughout the activity, especially as she approached the finish line.

For the outing, Garner kept it simple but comfortable in a black shirt, matching sweatpants, blue running shoes and a black sweater, which she tied around her waist while warming up and wore when she began running. She accessorized the sporty look with a pair of designer sunglasses. Garner kept her hair neat and away from her face in a ponytail.

Garner's children seemed to have inherited their mother's athletic abilities as they were seen keeping up with the crowd.

Garner has made sure to stay fit, but she had to undergo a grueling workout while preparing for her role in "Peppermint." Body By Simone founder Simone De La Rue, who was Garner's trainer, revealed to Women's Health last year that the actress had to bulk up for the role and would work out six days a week for one to two hours per day.

"We knew that we needed to look like an action figure, so obviously we needed to target the arms," the trainer said of Garner's fitness regime.

"We worked on lifting heavier weights, usually around 15 pounds," she explained. "We also did a lot of bodyweight work, and supplemented with my custom resistance bands."

This latest sighting comes after Garner was spotted moving into a gorgeous new home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles last week.

The property, which was reportedly just a mile away from Affleck's bachelor pad, spans 10,500 square feet and boasts many amenities including a gym with sauna, craft room, large wine tasting room, climate-controlled wine cellar and billiards room, according to Daily Mail.
