Hollywood princess Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly feuding with her onetime pal, “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart. Following Lawrence’s split from English actor Nicholas Hoult last week, rumors that Stewart is dating Hoult, her new “Equals” co-star, have the Oscar-winner “furious,” InTouch Weekly reports.

“Jen thought Kristen was her buddy. Now she thinks Kristen stabbed her in the back and took her man,” an insider told the magazine in its Aug. 18 feature “Kristen Steals J-Law’s Man.”

While Stewart and Hoult, both 24, have yet to confirm their rumored romance and the intent of their date night in Japan last week, insiders claim the co-stars have been an item since late July, before Lawrence and her “X-Men” co-star officially called their romance quits.

“Kristen got her hooks into Nicholas pretty quick,” said a second source, adding more fuel to Lawrence’s alleged fury by claiming that Hoult reportedly prefers Stewart over his more acclaimed ex. “He’s fallen hard for her,” said an insider. “Kristen’s more his type. She’s independent and anti-Hollywood and laid-back just like he is. She’s the opposite of Jennifer, who can be a bit manic.”

Despite Lawrence dropping hints to Marie Claire magazine that her relationship with Hoult was already on the rocks in May, the 23-year-old “Hunger Games” star is said to be fuming over Stewart’s alleged betrayal.

“Jennifer feels like she’s been played for a fool, and she’s furious,” said the first insider. “[Kristen] sunk her fangs into her friend’s boyfriend and didn’t care who she hurt.”

Lawrence’s rumored upset follows a report from ShowBizSpy in January that she feared Stewart might sink her teeth into Hoult due to her taste for dating her British co-workers -- “Twilight” lead Robert Pattinson in 2009 and her then-married “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders in 2012.

“This is making Jennifer uneasy, to say the least,” an insider said of Hoult securing a romantic film role opposite Stewart. “She doesn’t want to think the worst of Kristen, but her reputation precedes her.”

Hoult and Stewart were first spotted together enjoying a meal at Daiwa sushi restaurant in Tokyo’s Tsukiki fish market July 31. The co-stars later attended a press conference to announce their new sci-fi feature “Equals,” where Hoult discussed his affinity for working with Stewart. “Kristen is a great actress, and that just makes it very relaxed and my job very easy,” he said.

The actors are scheduled to film on location in Japan until Aug. 28.

On Friday, sources confirmed to E! News that Lawrence and Hoult had called their on-again, off-again romance of three years quits. “[It] was very amicable,” confirmed an insider. “They spent a lot of time apart because of work, and it was difficult on their relationship.”
