Jennifer Lawrence could be gracing the Vogue’s cover again. A source claimed that this time, the “Hunger Games” star will be paired with artist John Currin.

According to WWD, Vogue is planning to merge the world of Hollywood and arts by bringing Lawrence and Currin together in its September cover. Their collaboration will happen at about the same time when the “Joy” actress releases a new slate of film in the fall, including “Mother” which is directed by her boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky.

Currin is a popular American painter. His art has a satirical and provocative theme. It fits the colorful and spooky poster of Lawrence’s upcoming film, “Mother.” In the poster with floral background, Lawrence was wearing a bloody white gown while holding her heart in her hands with a big hole in her chest.

Per Vulture only little is known about Lawrence’s psychological-horror film other than its logline that reads: “A couple’s relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.” “Mother” will hit the big screen on Oct. 13.

Based on Currin’s biography, his works present figurative portraits, often nude that reflect the culture’s obsession with beauty and perfection. In fact, he was accused of misogynistic tendencies due to his harsh subject. However, he contended that his works were satirical references to what the society fed us through art, history, media, advertising and magazines.

If the source is correct, Lawrence and Currin’s collaboration in the Vogue September cover would be unique and interesting. However, the magazine declined to confirm or deny the report. “We do not comment on rumors of future editorial.”

WWD added that there was already a history of magazines working with artists. For instance, Garage Magazine worked with Swiss artist Urs Fisher to create a cover for Beyoncé. Meanwhile, artist Andy Warhol founded Interview Magazine. Also, artistic covers are not new to Vogue. In the 40s, the magazine tapped Salvadore Dalí, Man Ray and more for its covers.

Meanwhile, gracing the Vogue cover is not new to Lawrence. The “Passengers” star graced the magazine cover on December 2015.
