Jennifer Lawrence, Kendall Jenner and Emma Stone are all smiles when they grace the spotlight. However, these stars are not that composed every day. They also have down times, especially when their anxiety strikes.

People listed a number of celebrities who battle panic attacks differently. Check out if your favorite star is on the list.

Jennifer Lawrence: Acting

Lawrence is bubbly and very likable. In fact, she gained the nickname “Nitro” due to her hyperactive personality. She recalled that growing up, her mom would always tell her that there “was a light within her.” However, things changed when she went to school.

The “Hunger Games” star added that it was kind of social anxiety, but they were never sure. Things weren’t as it was until she begged her parents to take her into casting.

“We went off to New York and that’s where I started acting. On stage, my mother saw the change taking place in me. She saw my anxieties disappear,” the “Joy” star told Madam Figaro. Acting “made me happy because I felt capable whereas before I felt good for nothing. This is why mom fought for me to become an actress,” Lawrence added.

Kendall Jenner: Meditation

The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star admitted to Teen Vogue that her panic attacks started when she freaked out on flights. The supermodel added that she felt light headed on planes like she was fainting.

Kendall and sister Kim Kardashian worked with a therapist. The therapy worked for the latter but not with former. The two reality stars tried medication, too, which Kendall finds more appealing to her.

“Knowing that having anxiety isn’t something you can just fix and it’ll go away, meditation’s definitely something that could help me. It’s something I can obviously take everywhere with me whenever I feel like it,” said Kendall, Den Meditation reported.

Emma Stone: Improv Classes

“La La Land” star Stone admitted to Rolling Stone that she had anxiety. When she was 7, she felt like their house was burning. It was not a hallucination, but she felt her chest tightening, she struggled to breathe and felt like the world was going to end. It came to a point that she couldn’t visit her friends’ houses anymore. She confronted her panic attack by joining improv classes.

“You have to be present in improv, and that’s the antithesis of anxiety,” Stone said.

Lena Dunham: Exercise

For “Girls” star Dunham, working out is a good way to battle anxiety. However, she admitted that it was not easy for her to grasp the idea. In fact, it took years before she was convinced to try it.

“To those struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression: I know it’s mad annoying when people tell you to exercise, and it took me about 16 medicated years to listen,” Dunham said. “I'm glad I did. It ain’t about the ass, it’s about the brain.”

Beth Behrs: Horses

Berhs, 31, has a unique approach to controlling her anxiety. The “Hello, My Name Is Doris” star finds peace when she is with horses. In fact, she decided to adopt one.

“I noticed just being around horses, my panic attacks started going away,” Behrs told People for its 2017 World’s Most Beautiful issue. She finds horses so grounding. Whenever she’s with them she feels that she has to be genuine about herself and it empowers her.
