Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reportedly planned to go Instagram-official before the “Justice League” actor was seen in the “Let’s Get Loud” singer’s car in April.

Page Six reported Thursday that the rumored couple planned to announce their “reunion” in a more controlled manner before pictures surfaced of Affleck riding in Lopez’s Escalade to visit her home. The paparazzi photos of the “Gone Girl” star dropping off his car at the Hotel Bel-Air and then traveling to his alleged girlfriend’s nearby home “ruined their plans.”

“He stayed at her house [in April], and she was planning to make an announcement that they are back together on Instagram. It’s all about timing with her,” an insider told the publication.

Lopez and Affleck are yet to confirm the reunion reports. However, the two celebrities have been dropping hints that they are already back together, especially after they were seen vacationing in Montana and Miami recently.

The “On the Floor” singer was pictured meditating on the waterfront of a Miami rental property while Affleck was seen taking a smoke break outside earlier this week. They were even spotted locking their lips in a gym between sets.

A source recently told Yahoo Entertainment that Lopez and Affleck “aren’t hiding” their romance. "They know photographers are following them, but it's not stopping them from living their lives,” the source said.

Lopez and Affleck were in a relationship for two years before calling off their wedding in 2003. They broke up in 2004.

The “Ain’t Your Mama” hitmaker then married Marc Anthony and had two kids with him, while the “Good Will Hunting” actor shares three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

Lopez and Affleck have remained friends in recent years.

In 2016, Lopez told People that she and Affleck did not try to have a public relationship before. “We just happened to be together at the birth of the tabloids, and it was like 'Oh my God.' It was just a lot of pressure,” she said, adding: “I think different time different thing, who knows what could've happened, but there was a genuine love there.”
