A rumor, started by an unreliable tabloid, suggested actress Jennifer Lopez was angry at her beau Alex Rodriguez for liking a photo of 21-year-old reality star Kylie Jenner. However, the rumor was debunked by Gossip Cop.

The “fake news” story was published by NW magazine, which cited an anonymous source claiming to have a scoop on how Lopez fumed at her boyfriend after she found out he had “creepily” liked an Instagram photo of Jenner, in which the latter was wearing a form-fitting mini-dress.

“This is pretty inappropriate by anyone’s standards, since Alex is 43 and Kylie’s 21. Plus, they have no connection whatsoever to each other, except for being celebrities,” the insider said.

“Kylie’s post was really hot, so what was going through Alex’s head when he liked it is anyone’s guess. Jen’s not one to put up with this type of behavior – she’s fuming,” the so-called source added. “It doesn’t look good for their relationship when he’s lusting after a girl half his age. It’s made Jen look like she’s dating a creep. Alex will have a hard time wriggling out of this one, if you ask me!”

Apart from providing no details on which picture of Jenner the former MLB player allegedly liked, Gossip Cop also pointed out that apart from NW, no other publication was reporting on the story — something that is a rare occurrence in the entertainment world, especially if the insider’s claim was a proven fact.

As for the “Booty” singer getting angry at her boyfriend for his so-called indiscretion, only last week, Lopez gushed about Rodriguez’s undying support for her and her career during an interview on the closing night of her “All I Have” residency in Las Vegas.

"It's been something beyond my wildest dreams to have a partner who is so supportive and loving and really, really loves what I do and doesn't try to squash me in anyway but tries to always raise me up," she told E! News. "There's just something about having that type of love and support that makes you soar and that's what I think we try to be for each other and I just feel so lucky."

The admiration was reciprocated by Rodriguez in an Instagram post, where he wrote: “#AllIHave isn't just the name of the show, it's what she has given to her audiences every single night. That's what makes her great. When she hits the stage, the audience gets her best effort. That was true on her first performance, will be true tonight and it has been that way every show in between. She is working as hard today as she does every day and it's amazing to watch."

Hence, contrary to what the tabloid claimed, there does not seem to be any love lost between the couple.
