He's back! Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is a free man and, of course, the "Jersey Shore" cameras captured the moment for fans to see.

In a sneak peek of the midseason premiere for "Jersey Shore Family Vacation," Mike makes a call to his wife, Lauren Pesce, with some very exciting news.

"It's happening," he said, making reference to his release date during their Sept. 11, 2019 chat.

The 37-year-old was released from Otisville Federal Correctional Institution the following day on Sept. 12, 2019, after serving eight months behind bars for tax evasion.

With Mike back, the "Jersey Shore" gang is officially back together, however, that apparently won't last long.

Although fans will be able to witness the whole crew -- housemates Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Deena Nicole Cortese, and Mike -- reunited for the rest of Season 3, when it comes to a potential Season 4, Nicole revealed that she will not be participating.

"I am retiring from Jersey Shore," the 32-year-old told her podcast listeners in Dec. 2019. "I am not coming back to Jersey Shore [Family Vacation] for a season four if there is one. And there's a lot of reasons why, but the main reason is really, I'm just like...I just can't do it anymore."

"Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" returns to MTV on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. EST.
