The popularity of the Keanu Reeves’ new action franchise has led to an early announcement of the continuation of the saga with “John Wick: Chapter 4.” If the previous film “Parabellum” was about the preparation for war, the next one will be about the big war against the High Table and the Continental Hotel in New York.

The following article contains spoilers from “John Wick: Chapter 3.”

The ending of the third installment of the franchise set up the plot for the next film. Winston (Ian McShane) betrayed his old friend John Wick in order to keep his hotel and to please the High Table. Now, the assassin’s goal will be to take revenge.

John will need a lot of help if he has to fight Continental Hotel and the High Table. He will team up with a man who also has a grievance against the High Table- the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne).

The Bowery King was angry with the High Table for previous offences committed against him, Screen Rant reported. He may now be inclined to join forces with John Wick in “Chapter 4” to defeat his enemies once and for all.

While the plot of the film seems obvious, the casting of the film has yet to begin. Reeves is the only confirmed cast member of the movie as of this writing. However, with the release date set for May 21, 2021, the producers have a lot of time to select the actors they need.

The popularity of the franchise has also resulted to a new TV series being developed that the fans should be able to enjoy while they wait for the upcoming movie. Back in 2017, it was announced that Chad Stahelski and Derek Kolstad were developing a TV series based on the action franchise called “The Continental,” Screen Rant reported.

Some of Reeve’s other films that will be releasing before “John Wick: Chapter 4” include “Toy Story 4,” “Cyberpunk 2077,” and “Bill & Ted Face The Music,” Screen Rant reported.
