Johnny Depp lied about his injured finger to cover up for his ex-wife Amber Heard.

A new report from Page Six claimed that Heard didn’t slice her ex-husband’s finger because Depp told his doctor that he accidentally cut off his middle finger. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor already addressed this.

In a court document obtained by Daily Mail in 2019, Depp said that Heard was making false stories to conceal that her domestic abuse against Depp had already caused him “grievous bodily injury.”

“First, in the midst of our divorce case, Ms. Heard caused to be leaked to the media a fake story that I cut off my finger by punching a hole in a wall. Now, Ms. Heard has crafted a new, but equally fake, story that I cut off my finger by smashing a plastic phone to smithereens while violently beating her in a ‘three-day ordeal,’” Depp said. “Neither of these stories is true.”

Depp added that he never cut off his finger and explained that he lied by telling the doctor that it was “an accident” to cover up for his wife. According to Depp, the truth was, Heard threw a glass vodka bottle at him and it smashed on the marble countertop where his hand was resting. The impact and the broken glass shattered the bone and cut off his finger. A copy of the court document has also made rounds on Twitter.

“To cover for M. Heard, I told the emergency room doctor that it happened in ‘an accident.’ The doctor knew better, and told me, ‘This is a wound velocity.’”

Depp underwent three surgeries to reconstruct his finger and contracted MRSA three times. He admitted that at that point, he feared for his life.

“I feared that I would lose my finger, my arm, and my life,” Depp said.

Meanwhile, Heard’s ex Elon Musk was photographed with a black eye when they were still together. Online users speculated that the “Aquaman” actress caused it, and the speculations inflamed Heard’s history of domestic abuse as perpetrator.
