Multiple talent agencies and law firms are reportedly looking to hire Camille Vasquez, a 37-year-old attorney who rose to fame for her role in the defamation trial between actors and ex-spouses Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

Vasquez quickly became a star among Depp fans after she repeatedly sparred with Amber Heard during intense cross-examinations in the six-week defamation trial. Vasquez and her colleagues convinced the jury that Heard defamed Depp in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed where she said she was “a public figure representing domestic abuse.”

Since the trial ended last week, Vasquez has reportedly been receiving offers from talent agencies, TV networks and cable channels.

“Talent agents are circling Camille because they recognize that she is the unicorn — a smart, savvy, poised attorney whose impactful performance during the trial propelled her to a rare level of visibility,” an industry source told The New York Post. “And the fact that she is a woman of color is an added bonus.”

It is still unclear whether Vasquez plans to respond to any offer. As of Sunday, Vasquez remains an associate at the law firm Brown Rudnick. However, celebrity lawyer Judd Burstein predicted that Vasquez will be made a partner “soon.”

“No firm would allow her to have a role in a big trial like this if she wasn’t on the partner track,” Burstein told the publication. “There are two factors that go into making a partner — your quality of lawyering and ability to attract business. She can probably go anywhere and make a nice deal for herself.”

Vasquez was one of the nine attorneys hired by Depp to represent him in his defamation suit against his former wife Heard. During the trial, it was speculated that Depp and Vasquez might be dating. The rumor was later dismissed by both teams. Vasquez was also seen with her boyfriend Edward Owen following the trial.

Vasquez is expected to be one of Depp’s attorneys when he goes back to court this July. “The Pirates of the Caribbean” actor was accused of assault by Gregg Brooks, a crew member he worked with on the movie “City of Lies” in 2017.
