Fergie is moving on fast from her split from estranged husband, Josh Duhamel.

The former "Black Eyed Peas" singer recently opened up about her breakup from Duhamel, 44. In the interview, Fergie was in good spirits and admitted that she's doing well after the split.

"I'm doing great. Things right now are just finally being released—a lot of things," she told E! News at the iPic Theaters in New York City. "And it feels really good to just exhale, release it all into the world with love and keep it moving."

On Thursday, Fergie, 42, dropped her first visual album, "Double Dutchess: Seeing Double," which, according to her, was inspired by her "life experiences" and "exploring different themes." Fergie's new album included her collaborations with Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and YG. She also has a song that featured her 4-year-old son, Axl Jack, titled "Enchanté (Carine)."

Fergie can't help but gush about her about her son with Duhamel and dish on why she included him in her latest album. "It's so cute. Just as a mom, when your kid starts singing one of your songs and sings it in French, it's just one of those mommy moments where you had to put the phone to the side on silent to record and play a game and get him to sing it again and I had to put him on. It was so cute," Fergie said of Axl Jack.

As for her ex-husband, Fergie has confessed that she remains friends with Duhamel. According to the "Big Girls Don't Cry" singer, there is still so much love between them, but their feelings are no longer romantic.

"We're great friends, Josh and I, there's so much love that we have for each other," Fergie said. "We really like each other, we have fun with each other. We're just not a romantic couple anymore. But we are still Axl's parents through and through, and our families — each other's families, the cousins, my nieces and nephews — it's all the same. So that's the only thing that's changed."

Fergie and Duhamel announced their split earlier this month, after celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary in January. "With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year," the pair said in a joint statement.
