After bringing fans some warm summer romances, things are about to take a turn towards cooler temperatures on Hallmark. However, there is still one last “Summer Nights” film for fans to get excited about, with the premiere of “Journey of My Heart,” starring Rhiannon Fish and Darien Martin.

Fans may recognize the stars from other projects, though they haven’t been household names when it comes to Hallmark titles. Fish has previously had roles in both “You’re Bacon Me Crazy” and “The 27-Hour Day,” as well as the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: How To Con A Con,” but is likely best known for her role on the show “Home and Away.” As for Martin, he has previously had roles in “Chateau Christmas” on Hallmark Channel and “Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swensen Mystery” on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Paul C. Grenier, Grace Dove and Ray Thunderchild also star.

So what will fans get to see as they see these two take on some starring roles in this newest Hallmark film?

“Abby (Fish) is dedicated to her work as a wildlife biologist at the North Star Wildlife Institute so much that it interferes with her personal life,” a synopsis reads. “Abby’s research on the migratory and mating habits of eagles leads her to Alaska where she meets Niko (Grenier) and Ellen Rivers (Dove), owners of the Lakeside Resort, along with a rugged wilderness guide, Eric (Martin).”

Abby is also introduced to Jaco (Thunderchild), who helps give her information for her mission, but as she works towards her goal, she also finds herself unexpectedly falling for Eric.

“With a new revitalized outlook to her journey, Abby is more inspired by her work and gets better acquainted with Eric, whom she sees as a man of impeccable integrity,” the synopsis continues. “Could Eric be someone she could make a lifetime commitment to or will an unfortunate incident take Abby back to her former routine?”

“Journey of My Heart” airs Saturday, Sept. 4 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
