Julianne Hough recently shared stunning photos from the second leg of her honeymoon with husband Brooks Laich.

On her Instagram account, the professional dancer revealed that they are currently on a safari adventure at the Angama Mara safari lodge in Kenya, South Africa. In one of the snaps, Hough is holding binoculars while looking at the beautiful view and colorful balloon rides. Hough and Laich also spotted an adorable elephant, and they got to enjoy a wonderful breakfast outdoors.

Prior to going on their safari adventure, Hough and Laich went to the beach for the first half of their honeymoon. The couple tied the knot on July 8 by a lake near Coeur d’Alene in Idaho.

A few weeks after their wedding ceremony, Hough’s best friend and bridesmaid, Nina Dobrev, shared some details from their ceremony. While speaking with People Style, Dobrev revealed that it was her first time being a bridesmaid for one of her friends. “Julianne and Brooks popped my cherry – in a way! It is only downhill from here,” she said.

Dobrev also shared that she was present for all of Hough’s gown fittings. “I was at all of her fittings at Marchesa and saw her every step of the way when they were designing it. I got to be a big part of that as spectator,” she continued.

Meanwhile, Hough and Laich’s wedding ceremony took place on the same day as Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s wedding. The former’s wedding was attended by Julianne’s brother, Derek Hough. Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy’s wedding was attended by the latter’s brother, Val Chmerkovskiy and former “DWTS” contestants Rumer Willis, Candace Cameron Bure and Nyle DiMarco.

While speaking with People, Hough admitted that she never imagined what her wedding would be like as a young girl. But Laich said that it was important for the ceremony to be held outdoors since he and Hough are both very adventurous people. “Julianne and I are very adventurous and wanted the setting to be in nature,” he said.

Hough will return for the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars” as a judge in September.
