  • Julianne Hough’s relationship with Charlie Wilson could just be a flirtation, according to a source
  • The professional dancer is focused on her busy career even if she wants to be in a relationship
  • Hough’s busy schedule could get in the way of her budding romance with the model

If there’s one thing that could get in the way between Julianne Hough and her new flame Charlie Wilson, it’s her busy career.

The 33-year-old professional dancer is focused on her career at this point in her life that she has chosen to take things slow with the Ursula Wiedmann-signed model.

“She wants to be in a relationship, but has a busy career and intends to keep building on it,” a source exclusively told People Monday.

The insider also pointed out that it has not been that long since the two started seeing each other, so it’s too soon to say that it’s more than just flirtation.

“Julianne has not been dating Charlie … very long but seems happy and enjoying her single life. She is attracted to him, but it’s early and could just be a flirtation,” the source explained.

The pair made headlines earlier this month when they were spotted packing on the PDA in Los Angeles. An exclusive photo released by Extra showed Hough and Wilson sharing a passionate kiss while hugging in public.

The two were out to grab some takeout food from a local restaurant that day, and Hough was seen rocking casual attire for the outing. She wore a fuzzy brown jacket, a pair of white sweatpants and slippers. On the other hand, Wilson put on a green t-shirt, brown pants and white sneakers.

Before Wilson, Hough was linked to actor Ben Barnes. They were spotted multiple times in public since April 2020. They were even photographed enjoying ice cream together in the City of Angels in January of this year.

Hough was previously married to retired hockey player Brooks Laich. They started dating in 2013 and tied the knot in July 2017. They announced their split in May 2020, and Hough filed for divorce last November.

Meanwhile, Hough recently had to step in for her older brother Derek Hough, 36, and do some judge duties during the finale of “Dancing With the Stars” Season 30 after the latter tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19.

Her appearance in the finale last week marked her return to the ABC dance competition after leaving the show in 2017. It also marked her reunion with fellow judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.
