Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez hung out again over the weekend.

Bieber and the "Fetish" songstress seemed to have become friends again after ending their on-and-off relationship in 2014, having been spotted spending time with each other more and more lately. For their latest outing, Gomez and Bieber grabbed breakfast together in Los Angeles on Sunday, TMZ reported. In the photo shared by the publication, Bieber sported a hoodie, while Gomez wore a striped dress.

"Justin and Selena came in by themselves around 9:30 this morning. They grabbed breakfast, blueberry smoothies with whipped cream, and were just talking — none of the staff really recognized them. Justin paid for both of them, they looked to be in a good mood, they just sat at a table and chatted for a while, no hand holding or anything, the conversation seemed lighthearted," an insider told Us Weekly. "They sat at a table inside where they had a little more privacy. They stayed for about 25 minutes before leaving together."

This is not the first time Gomez and Bieber have been seen together this month. On Oct. 22, Gomez and Bieber reportedly hung out with their mutual friends at a party. The "Love Yourself" singer was seen arriving in his white G-Wagon at Gomez's home in Studio City.

Despite the exes' reunion, multiple sources claimed that they are not getting back together romantically. In fact, Gomez's boyfriend, The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, was aware of their friendship and their meetings. However, he could not join them as he is still on tour.

The "Same Old Love" singer reportedly also makes sure that her friendship with Bieber will not affect her romance with the rapper. Gomez does not want to upset The Weeknd, so she is limiting her encounters with Bieber. "She is trying to not overdo it with seeing him," a source told E! Online. "She doesn't want to upset Abel."

In addition, Gomez and Bieber have reportedly been in constant contact following the former's kidney transplant. The "Baby" singer reportedly freaked out when he learned that his ex had an operation.

In September, Gomez announced that she was getting a kidney transplant as part of her lupus treatment. The singer shared a photo of herself and her best friend, Francia Raisa, lying on a hospital bed while holding hands after the medical procedure on Instagram.

"And finally, there aren't words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa," Gomez wrote in the caption. "She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis."
