Kaley Cuoco recently revealed that her adopted dog, Rex, will be going to his new and permanent home via her Instagram account.

The “Big Bang Theory” actress shared a photo of Rex inside stylist Brad Goreski’s sweater and announced that the “Fashion Police” co-host and his partner, Gary, have decided to take in Rex. Cuoco expressed sadness over parting with Rex, but she added that she’s also happy the dog now has a permanent home.

Cuoco first met Rex through Paw Works. The organization sent the dog to her and asked for her help in finding a new owner for Rex. However, Cuoco fell in love with him instantly, so she decided to adopt him. Now that Goreski and Gary will be taking care of Rex, Cuoco said that she will have the opportunity to adopt another dog in need.

In a follow-up post, Cuoco also revealed that Rex is now named Theo. In the photo, Rex sits comfortably on Cuoco’s lap while the actress looks away from the camera. Cuoco and Rex have been together for a couple of months, and the dog was also well-received by her other furry pals: Norman, Shirley and Ruby. “The Wedding Ringer” actress also hinted on the possibility of Rex starring in his own TV show on E! News very soon.

Last year, Cuoco mourned the death of two her dogs, Petey and Chester. Petey passed away on Cuoco and her ex-husband Ryan Sweeting’s supposedly second anniversary, according to People. Chester died a week later, and Cuoco shared in a lengthy Instagram post that she had no idea that the dogs she adopted had health conditions. Following the death of Petey and Chester, Cuoco continued to adopt new dogs. In November, she also encouraged her fans to adopt and adorable pit bull named Ariel.
