  • The rapper said both he and his kids want him and Kardashian "to be together"
  • The artist claimed he "never" saw the divorce papers

Kanye West is still hoping that he and Kim Kardashian will get back together.

Nine months after Kardashian filed for divorce in February, the "Gold Digger" rapper, now known as Ye, referred to the reality star as his "wife" when he appeared on Revolt TV's "Drink Champs" Thursday.

"My wife—'cause she's still my wife—ain't no paperwork," the Yeezy founder was quoted by E! News as saying in the episode as he recalled a moment where the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum helped him solve a small issue.

West and Kardashian have remained amicable after their split. They co-parent their four children, daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 2.

Both stars have also continued to show support for each other's careers. Kardashian attended the promotional events for his album "Donda" in August, while West flew to New York City to help Kardashian prepare for her hosting debut on "Saturday Night Live" last month.

However, the artist admitted that he wasn't happy about the joke regarding their divorce in Kardashian's monologue.

In her "SNL" monologue, Kardashian said that she married the "best rapper of all time," the "richest Black man in America" and a "talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids." She then went on to joke that when she decided to file for divorce, it came "down to one thing — his personality."

While Kardashian's jokes received rave reviews on social media, West wasn't pleased.

"'SNL' making my wife say 'I divorced him' because they just wanted to get that bar off," he said. "And I ain't never even seen the papers, we're not even divorced."

He added, "That ain't no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together."

Back in April, West officially responded to Kardashian's divorce filing, requesting joint physical and legal custody of their four kids in a court document previously obtained by E! News.

West's recent declaration came amid rumors that Kardashian is dating "SNL" star Pete Davidson.

The Skims founder and the comedian first sparked dating rumors last week after they were photographed holding hands during a rollercoaster ride at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. They then went on two dinner dates in New York City this week.

While multiple reports said Kardashian and Davidson are just friends, an unnamed source told Us Weekly that there is a possibility that their friendship could turn "romantic."
