Kate Middleton doesn't wear orange because she knows that she won't look good in it.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been seen wearing dresses in vibrant color. However, eagle eyes noticed that Middleton never wears orange. Initially, many thought that it was just a matter of preference. An expert, however, has said that Prince William's wife just made the right choice as she will look "dreadful" in that shade.

"I believe that Kate is a 'winter' colour type," Daisy Schubert, a style expert, told Express. "If my suspicion is correct, she would look dreadful in orange and does well to avoid it."

"Having a cool, blue undertone means that the orange colour pigments would clash with her natural features. You’d only see the dress, not her!" the expert continued.

She noted that the winter color palette includes white, black, navy blue, red and bright pink. Middleton has worn these shades in a number of engagements in the past.

Middleton has her own fashion sense. For instance, she was seen wearing wedges on several occasions, but never in the presence of the Queen. "The Queen isn't a fan of wedged shoe," a source told Vanity Fair. "She really doesn't like them and it's well known among the women in the family."

When it comes to wearing high heels, the Duchess of Cambridge uses Alice Bow insoles. The brand combines comfort and fashion to help women enjoy their footwear.

In related news, Middleton will inherit both Camilla Parker Bowles and Princess Diana's titles when Prince Charles becomes the new king. Prince William and Middleton are expected to be the next Prince and Princess of Wales. The honor is given to the second-in-line to the throne. So, when Prince Charles takes over the monarchy, the title will be passed on to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Aside from this, Prince William and Middleton will also be the next Duke and Duchess of Cornwall. According to royal expert Marlene Koenig, Prince William may be called HRH The Duke of Cornwall and Cambridge. On the other hand, Middleton will be HRH The Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge.

Prince William and Middleton have just returned from their vacation in Mustique. The couple is expected to join the Queen in Balmoral Castle this summer.
