Kate Middleton looked happy while Meghan Markle appeared anxious during a polo outing with kids.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex made a reunion at a polo match to support their husbands, Prince William and Prince Harry, respectively, who were playing in competing teams. Middleton brought her three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Surprisingly, Markle also brought her 2-month-old son Archie.

Middleton sported a pink dress and accessorized with dark shades for the outing. Meanwhile, Markle opted to wear a long khaki dress and sunglasses. Although the two royals appeared great, body language expert Judi James said that they didn’t feel the same.

“With three small children to amuse and herd around and with Louis now hugely active walking about on his own, Kate – like most mothers of toddlers – looks totally absorbed in her role of protector and entertainer-in chief,” James said.

“‘Relaxed’ probably isn’t the word for her body language here but she looks happy but mindful as she tries to keep her eye on George and Charlotte while holding onto a wriggling Louis.”

Unlike Middleton, first-time mom Markle appeared anxious as she cradled her baby and waited for Prince Harry.

“Meghan’s body language ranges from besotted motherhood as she cradles a much more serene baby Archie and smiles down at his face or kisses his head to some glances of what looks like anxiety as she appears to stand alone waiting for Harry,” the expert explained.

“Her sleeping baby appears to be her whole world here and in between some idealistic and very loving poses between the three of them she appears to be looking protective and slightly new-mother wary as she cradles Archie in a blanket.”

Last Saturday, Prince Harry and Markle held Archie’s baptism. Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William and Middleton were all present at the event as shown in the official photos released by the palace. However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s three kids weren’t there.

According to another expert, Prince William and Middleton showed signs of stress at the event. Meanwhile, Prince Harry was also criticized for looking “terrible” and a “mess” at his son’s christening.
