Kate Middleton has a sweet and adorable term of endearment to her kids.

The Duchess of Cambridge is a hands-on mom to 5-year-old Prince George and 3-year-old Princess Charlotte even after welcoming her third baby, Prince Louis. On Sunday, Middleton was spotted buying loads of Christmas presents with her two older kids.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte were seen with a trolley full of children’s pictures, books and stationery. One teacher named Sarah Daniels, 43, noticed how Middleton addressed her kids.

According to Daniels, when Middleton saw Princess Charlotte sat on the floor, the duchess told her “Get up, poppet,” Daily Express reported. She also heard Prince George asking his mom if they could buy some dinosaur slime and Middleton called him “poppet” too.

Daniels found it lovely to see the trio shopping the day before Christmas Eve. She initially didn’t notice them until Prince George told his sister to pick up something.

“We are used to all the pomp and ceremony that goes with the Royal Family but it was great to see Kate shopping with her children in the kind of discount store the rest of us use,” Daniels added.

In related news, Middleton’s youngest son recently celebrated a new milestone. Prince Louis turned eight months old on Sunday.

He also received his own stocking that matched Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s sacks. The trio’s sacks are printed with crowns and their names on it.

Princess Charlotte also reached a new milestone earlier this month. The little princess experienced her first Nativity play at Willcocks Nursery School. However, it remains unknown if she had a role in the play, but many believed that her parents would be keen to attend if she had.

The royal family is in Sandringham to spend the holidays with Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the members of the royal family. Prince William and Kate Middleton will celebrate the occasion with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid their rumored feud.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly rejected the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s invitation to spend the night at their Gregorian home. Prince Harry and Markle will be housed at the Queen’s home and will be packed like sardines along with other guests.
