Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have to follow a certain rule when flying on aplane, but their husbands Prince William and Prince Harry are not required to do the same.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex have to follow a list of protocol when they joined the royal family. According to Express, there is a certain practice that Middleton and Markle have to adhere to that Prince William and Prince Harry do not necessarily have to follow.

The royals have a rule that applies to the female members of the royal family when exiting a plane. They must keep their chin level to the stairs as they descend the aircraft. This etiquette rule suggests that one has a good posture and allows them to appear engaged with what is in front of them. They can hold the rail to steady themselves.

Myka Meier told The Sun that it is very important to find balance in the chin level because placing it too high suggests hastiness and too low means disinterest.

When Middleton travels with the kids or when she carries them, her head is more bowed as she leans to reassure them. Meanwhile, Meier also noted how male royals usually walk ahead of their wives when they exit the plane. According to her, this is to help their partners and ensure that they don’t trip down the stairs.

Prince Harry and Prince William often do this. The Duke of Cambridge is often seen extending a hand backwards to Middleton when they walk down the stairs.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle are allegedly getting divorced. Unnamed sources claimed that their marriage has been on the rocks since they attended the WellChild Awards in London last Oct. 15. Markle was spotted storming off on her husband while the latter looked stressed and upset. However, royals fans should take the reports with a grain of salt.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just returned from their long vacation with a big announcement. They will be returning to their royal duties soon. Prince Harry and Markle are bound to visit Canada’s High Commissioner in London on Tuesday to personally thank Canadian High Commissioner Janice Charette for the warm welcome they received during their vacation in the country.
