  • Prince William doesn't want more kids

Kate Middleton struggled with her first three pregnancies because of her extreme morning sickness. But after revealing that she tried hypnobirthing with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, an expert encouraged the future queen to have a fourth child.

Siobhan Miller, the founder of the Positive Birth Company, said that Middleton’s very positive take on her three pregnancies despite her struggles makes it more likely for her to want to have another child.

“The techniques [of hypnobirthing] help women to feel more relaxed and empowered when it comes to birth, so they can go into future pregnancies with less worry. As it’s less likely to lead to intervention or trauma, medically it can help with future pregnancies too. Birth trauma often prevents women from wanting to get pregnant again and so they will actively avoid this happening,” she told Express.

“Whereas a woman who has had a positive birth will probably look forward to doing it again! And we know hypnobirthing reduces the risk of birth trauma, so in that way, it makes easier to have another child,” she added.

Meanwhile, there have also been ongoing rumors suggesting that Middleton won’t get pregnant again since Prince William doesn’t want to have any more children.

Earlier this month, bookmakers Coral also slashed the odds for Middleton to get pregnant again. They said that Meghan Markle will most likely beat her sister-in-law by having a second child this year since her odds are at ½.

The odds for Middleton to announce her fourth pregnancy this year are at 9/4, which means that it is more unlikely than Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie making an announcement.

Coral spokesperson Harry Aitkenhead told Express that Markle’s second pregnancy isn’t a matter of if but when because the odds are quite firm that she and Prince Harry will give Archie a sibling before 2020 ends.

As for Middleton, she and Prince William have already been blessed with three children.
