The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex are not best friends. For months, there have been rumors about them having a feud. However, there were times when Middleton exerted effort to win Markle’s favor.

Just recently, Markle’s dad is back to gracing interviews again. Thomas Markle Sr. said that he wanted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to send him a picture of baby Archie.

Markle’s family feud was due to her family gracing different interviews and cashing in on them. When this happened for the first time, Middleton was there for Prince Harry’s wife.

“Kate’s well aware of what Meghan is going through. Her family has been dragged through the tabloids and she knows it’s not nice. She’s made a big effort to be kind to Meghan and look out for her,” Katie Nicholl said.

In December, the Cambridges and Sussexes reunited and attended Christmas Day church service in Sandringham despite the rumors claiming that they were feuding. On the said outing, Middleton put on more effort to show a united front with Markle.

In the photos taken at the event, Middleton and Markle can be seen talking to each other. Middleton opted to keep herself a few steps away from her husband to keep pace with Markle, who was holding Prince Harry’s arm.

According to body language expert Judi James, Middleton was adopting the matriarchal role in the royal family. The expert said that Middleton “took the job of PR for the two couples.” In Christmas 2017, Prince William and Middleton held each other’s hand, but they did not repeat it last year.

In related news, Middleton was reportedly very upset over her and Prince William’s split from Prince Harry and Markle. The Duchess of Cambridge couldn’t believe that things have ended so badly between the four of them. Middleton reportedly felt that their public split was her worst nightmare that came true.

Royal expert Phil Dampier was also not impressed with the fab four’s split. In fact, he deemed their split a “massive mistake” since it appeared that they were pitting against each other personally and professionally.
