Keith Thurman seems to be running his mouth more often days before he faces Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao. He just called fellow American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr out for ducking him all these years.

Yes, you've heard that right, the outspoken gentleman from Clearwater, Florida, isn't mincing his words when it comes to the retired Mayweather. Keith said that Floyd is straight chicken.

In YouTube post by TMZ, Mr. "One Time" said that if Mayweather "wanted a real fight, he would have seen me years ago." He added that the undisputed champ never really wanted to fight him.

He continued to rant and asserted that he was right there for all those years. "I was the #1 contender of the WBA, and then they made you a super champion," quipped an elated Thurman.

He also went on to say that the WBA didn't want their names together to avoid a fight. FYI, a WBA Super Champ holds multiple titles in the corresponding weight division and is excluded from mandatory title defenses. Super champs are also allowed to choose their opponents.

In the video, Thurman was frustrated that Floyd didn't pick him up for a fight. There were many opportunities to make a fight between the two, but according to Keith, Floyd "wussed out and didn't want the smoke."

Commenters on the video-sharing platform were quick to defend Mayweather. A user said that Keith is "Calling out 40-year-old men," and another one pointed out that he has been "ducking Errol Spence Jr for ages."

Thurman did say that he plans to fight Terence "Bud" Crawford and Errol Spence in 2020. He'd have to overcome Manny Pacquiao on Saturday before any of those plans comes to fruition.

Beating Manny would open a lot of opportunities, and Thurman knows it. He has been telling fight fans around the world that he plans to knock out the Filipino senator and force his retirement.

But the American's over-aggressive rhetoric might not end well, especially against a well prepared Pacquiao. In January, Manny showed the world that he still has some juice left when he outclassed Adrien Broner in a unanimous decision win.

Pacman's camp has been raving about his improved footwork and speed. For the most part, Thurman will have to be careful or else he would certainly be eating his own words.
