New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow was allegedly masturbating shortly before his November arrest for synthetic marijuana possession, according to a police report.

Winslow was arrested in a parking lot last November after he was found to be in possession of a type of synthetic marijuana, the Newark Star-Ledger reported. However, the eyewitness who initially called the police on Winslow reportedly claimed that the 30-year-old was masturbating in his Escalade shortly before the arrest.

In the police report, obtained by NJ.com beat writer Dom Cosentino, the woman claims that she parked her car alongside Winslow’s vehicle in the East Hanover, N.J., parking lot. According to her statement, Winslow’s driver-side window was down at the time of their interaction.

“As she exited her vehicle, she commented to the male regarding how cold it was,” the police report said, via NJ.com. “As she stood near the open driver side window of the Escalade, she observed the males [sic] erect penis. She stated that she believed he was masturbating. [The woman] provided a written statement regarding her account.”

Police officers who arrived at the scene noted that Winslow was “slouched in his seat and moving around” when they approached his vehicle, NJ.com reports. When asked what he was doing in the East Hanover parking lot, Winslow allegedly replied that he was looking for a local Boston Market restaurant.

Winslow’s genitals were not exposed at the time of his arrest, the site reports. However, the arresting officer noted the presence of “two open containers of Vaseline,” as well as evidence of synthetic marijuana.

The Jets tight end reportedly admitted to police that he smoked synthetic marijuana brands “Mr. Happy” and “Funky Monkey” because the NFL does not test for the substances, NJ.com reports. Subsequent lab tests confirmed that the substances taken from Winslow’s car were synthetic marijuana. He was formally charged with possession on Dec. 30, and pleaded not guilty.

Although the police report mentions “lewdness” as a potential charge against Winslow, the former University of Miami standout was not formally charged with the crime. He has yet to publicly address the masturbation allegations.
