It's not easy dropping baby weight and it's certainly not easy to do it while in the limelight, but actress and wife of John Travolta Kelly Preston was triumphant, shedding 39 pounds with her new diet secret.

When I got pregnant at 48, I didn't know if my body would bounce back, Preston told People magazine about her body after she had a son, Benjamin, with husband John Travolta last November. The couple also has a daugher, Ella Bleu, and a son Jett who died from a seizure in the Bahamas in 2009.

However, Preston not only shed the baby weight but actually emerged with a new svelte figure well under her pre-pregnancy weight.

I lost 39 lbs., have more energy than I had 20 years ago - and I feel amazing, Preston told People. I'm going to be turning 50 next year - holy s--t! Hey, 50 is the new 30.

But how did she do it? Aside from playing tennis and running around after Benjamin, she told People magazine she lost most of the weight with a little help from her close friend, Kirstie Alley, who lost 100 pounds earlier this year using the Organic Liason.

Created by Alley and a team of nutrition experts, the Organic Liaison is a weight-loss program with three steps in the Rescue Me kit. The plan centers around one's personal Body Game to help lose the weight, targeting cravings and boosting natural energy. It also offers natural dietary supplements to help shift eating habits to an organic regime without pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, chemical fertilizers, genetically modified organisms or synthetic chemicals.

Alley, 60, used the Organic Liason to shed nearly an entire person from her frame naturally without invasive surgeries.

NO surgery, NO flippin lasers, NO barfing, NO starving . . . Jeez . . . my products, organic food, dance. end, Alley wrote.

I was so excited when my best friend created Rescue Me, Kelly Preston told People, as she just recently signed on to be a spokeswoman for Organic Liason. It's pretty much the most genius thing ever.
