Kendall Jenner recently bared her chest for a good cause.

On Sunday, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star caused a stir in New York when she stepped out in a see-through orange blouse without a bra. It hung loosely on her slim frame, showing off her toned belly. The reality star-turned-model paired her quirky outfit with blue jeans and funky white boots, Daily Mail reported. Jenner kept her black tresses pulled back into a high bun. She completed her getup with a pair of large hoop earrings, dark sunglasses, a necklace and a shoulder bag.

Jenner reportedly went braless to make a statement. According to TMZ, the reality star is a solid supporter of the Free the Nipple movement, a gender equality and female empowerment campaign, and proved it by baring her chest.

Jenner has been showing a lot of skin lately, which do not surprise fans who have been following her social media. Last week, she posted a nude black and white photo of herself taken by photographer Sarah Samsonova on Instagram. In between her fingers was a cigarette butt, but in the caption, she wrote, “I don’t smoke.”

In other news, Jenner and her sister, Kylie Jenner, were recently embroiled in a controversy over their Kendall+Kylie vintage shirts. The siblings had their photos emblazoned on top of popular rock icons Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G. and Ozzy Osbourne on the shirts, which did not sit well with fans of the rappers. Many took offense with how Kendall and Kylie manipulated their images as the rappers have made huge contributions to the music industry. Michael Miller, who took Shakur’s photo, even sued the Jenner sisters for using his photo commercially without his permission.

However, the Jenner siblings stood firm that the allegations against them were false and that the lawsuit was baseless. They have since pulled out the shirts from their website, but this did not stop the affected parties from feeling disrespected. Metallica’s James Hetfield was also a little upset about the incident because the Jenners used their band’s photo.

“I guess what they were thinking is, ‘We can do whatever we want,’” Hetfield told ET Canada of the reality stars. “To me, it’s disrespectful. We’ve spent 36 years working hard, doing our best to keep a really close connection with people, make every note count, and someone just throws something up over something that we feel… Not that it’s sacred or anything, but show some respect.”
