“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Khloé Kardashian is “emotionally drained” after caring for her ailing husband, former Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom, while juggling her relationship with her boyfriend, Houston Rockets guard James Harden, Hollywood Life wrote in an exclusive report Thursday. To deal with the traumatic month after Odom reportedly overdosed, Kardashian needs to take a break.

“She is mentally and emotionally drained and needs time to herself to refresh and reload,” a source told Hollywood Life. “The holidays are adding even more pressure, so she is going to try to sneak away for a weekend for herself away from everything. It will only be a good thing, and the sooner, the better.”

A getaway would be the best way for the E! reality star to unwind. “Caring for Lamar, trying to get James back in her world and just living her life has been a nonstop whirlwind these past few weeks,” the insider said. “[Khloé] needs a vacation.”

Since Kardashian, 31, has continued to date Harden, 26, even though she is still married to Odom, 36, the former NBA player has issued her an ultimatum. “Lamar told her if she really wants to be with [Harden] then she should just leave him alone,” a source told Hollywood Life in a different story.

The couple got into a nasty fight last week after Odom accused Kardashian of using his hospitalization for publicity. “She was such a martyr; reminding him she had put her life on hold after the overdose. It was extremely mean-spirited of Khloé to do,” an insider told Radar Online. “Lamar was so upset and by the time Khloé left, he was in tears.”

Odom was hospitalized after he was found unconscious at a brothel outside Las Vegas on Oct. 13. He is working on walking again.
