Khloe Kardashian Rejects Tristan Thompson's Offer To Pay For Daughter's Birthday Party

Khloe Kardashian rejected Tristan Thompson's offer to pay for their daughter True's 4^th birthday party. In the Nov. 3 episode of "The Kardashians," it was revealed that Thompson was unable to attend the special occasion due to a prior basketball commitment but wanted to cover the expenses for the celebration.

At one point during the episode, Kris Jenner called her daughter over and revealed that Thompson had called her and privately offered to take care of the expenses for the birthday party. However, Kardashian did not appreciate the gesture.

"No, he is not taking care of the whole party. That's nice but I won't let that happen," she told her mother.

"He was so excited to do it," Jenner responded. "You should let him do that. He wanted to do that for her birthday."

Despite Jenner's persuasion, the Good American co-founder maintained her position and said, "And I'm so excited that I could do it all by myself. That is very nice, but I won't let him do that."

After their conversation, Kardashian revealed during a confessional why she would never let Thompson pay for True's birthday bash. "I work really hard to do elaborate things for True and I don't need anyone's help," she said.

The single mom also admitted that she had mixed feelings about the thought of Thompson attending True's party.

"I don't know if Tristan was here today, if that would add more stress to me," she said. "We do co-parent really well but I haven't seen Tristan in person since before Christmas time," she added, which was around the time Thompson welcomed a baby boy with Maralee Nichols following the paternity lawsuit the fitness model had filed against him.

Kardashian's relationship with Thompson was highly publicized in the media. The two started dating in 2016 and after a series of breakups, they rekindled their romance in late 2021. Shortly after that, a pregnant Nichols sued Thompson claiming that he was the father of the child. While the basketball player initially kept mum on the issue, he finally spoke up in early January and acknowledged that he did cheat on Khloe.
