  • Khloé Kardashian shared several unedited photos and videos of herself on Instagram
  • The "KUWTK" star said one has the right to ask that their photo be removed if it isn't flattering
  • Kardashian said her body, image, and how she chooses to look are her personal choice

Khloé Kardashian got candid about her body struggles after a bikini photo of her was uploaded on social media without her permission.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star took to Instagram and shared unedited photos and videos of her body. "Yes I did a live to show you all this isn’t photoshopped," she wrote in the caption.

Kardashian accompanied the post with a lengthy statement explaining her side on why she's so particular when it comes to her photos. Apparently, she has had enough of body-shaming because people would always comment on her appearance.

"Hey guys, this is me and my body unretouched and unfiltered," she wrote. "The photo that was posted this week is beautiful. But as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn't flattering, in bad lighting or doesn't capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point - and then shares it to the world - you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared - regardless of who you are."

Kardashian added that the constant ridicule and judgment she received concerning her looks have been too much to bear. She noted how some people would say she's the ugly and fat one among the Kardashians. Some have also mocked her saying that the only way for her to lose weight is through surgery.

"It's almost unbearable trying to live up to the impossible standards that the public have all set for me," she continued.

Kardashian also pointed out how her every single imperfection has been micro-analyzed and made fun of. She took the criticisms as motivation to be in her best shape. However, the "Revenge Body" star continues to reap insults and mockery with some saying she paid for it all despite her hard work. So, she decided to have control over her looks and what she wants to share with the world.

"I love a good filter, good lighting and edit here and there. The same way I throw on some make-up, get my nails done, or wear a pair of heels to present myself to the world the way I want to be seen and it's exactly what I will continue to do unapologetically," she added. "My body, my image, and how I choose to look and what I want to share is my choice. It's not for anyone to decide or judge what is acceptable or not anymore."

The Kardashian team is already working hard to remove the photo that the reality star mentioned in her post. In the controversial snap, she can be seen in a skimpy leopard print string bikini without the heavy editing and airbrushing. It was reportedly taken during a private family gathering and was posted by an assistant by mistake without her permission.
