Kim Kardashian has lashed out at the critics who questioned her daughter North West's painting abilities.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star proudly shared her "little artist's" oil painting, which depicts a mountain, river and surrounding valley, on Instagram, and it quickly drew comparisons to Bob Ross' artwork. However, some were not convinced that the painting was actually made by the 7-year-old.

"i'm supposed to go but i can't stop thinking about how north west did not paint this," wrote one Twitter user, whose post was later shared on Kardashian's Instagram Story.

The mom of four fired back at the critics in a lengthy post, writing, "DON'T PLAY WITH ME WHEN IT COMES TO MY CHILDREN!!!"

Kardashian explained that North has been taking painting lessons. She also stressed that her daughter worked hard on her piece, which apparently took weeks to finish.

"My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured," she continued. "North worked incredibly hard on her painting which took several weeks to complete. As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone."

Kardashian went on to criticize those who questioned her daughter's talent instead of acknowledging it. She slammed the "negativity" coming from "grown adults" because it could block a child's potential.

"How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome?" Kardashian wrote. "Please stop embarrassing yourselves with the negativity and allow every child to be GREAT!"

"NORTH WEST PAINTED THAT PERDIOTDDDDDABCDEFGZFDT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she concluded.

Some remained unconvinced. "You’re telling me North West is out here drawing like she is Bob Ross.. and I’m over here still drawing stick figures at 25?!?" one tweeted.

"Babe you are so right, but Kim Kardashian’s child did not paint this. You can even see the photo shop signature. And even if you didn’t, it’s Kim K so you have to take everything she says with a heavy spoonful of salt," another wrote with a laughing emoji.

However, other social media users also pointed out that some children are born with an innate talent for painting or have developed the skill after receiving lessons so it would not be a surprise if North painted the piece on her own.

"THIS LITTLE 7YR. OLD IS SIMPLY AMAZING! WOW! I BELIEVE SHE DID IT. SOME OF US A BORN WITH THIS MUCH TALENT," one commented.

"Speaking as an artist who’s made art my whole life, this is definitely within the skill range or a 7 y/o w access to the best teachers & best materials! A lot of times teachers do one example of each thing (like the one really good tree branch lol) & have the kid do the rest," another wrote.
