  • Everyone is advised to adhere to precautionary measures to avoid being infected

Kim Kardashian West tweets a creepy prediction of a severe pneumonia-like illness that will plague the world in 2020, amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star took it to Twitter and shared a snap of a page from a book written by Sylvia Browne in 2008 pertaining to an illness targeting the lungs and bronchial tubes. According to Kardashians tweet, her sister Kourtney was the one who sent the snap to their group chat. It was a screen captured photo from the post of a Facebook user Biet Simkin Glass.

The text revealed that in “around” 2020, a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe. It would attack the lungs and bronchial tubes. Moreover, it would be resistant to all known treatments.

Additionally, it says, “Almost more baffling than the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack again ten years later, and then disappear completely.”

Browne was an American author who penned the book “End of Days.” Died in 2013, she was publicly known as someone claiming to be a medium and a psychic. Many have asked whether her prediction referred to the Coronavirus outbreak; however, the Snopes pointed out that the term prediction was rather subjective.

It’s unclear whether there’s some truth to the prediction as posted by Kardashian but the reality of the current situation is this: the World Health Organization had already declared COVID-19 (coronavirus) as pandemic.

It’s note-worthy that the outbreak of the coronavirus illness had already affected over 110 countries and territories all over the world, according to the report of Time. There are over 118,000 cases reported of the said disease. Coronavirus might have spread all over exponentially, but everyone must bear in mind that it could still sustain the risk of spreading further all over the globe.

For everyone’s information, Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness from common cold to more severe diseases such as the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV), according to World Health Organization. Apparently, a new strain called novel coronavirus (nCoV) has not been previously identified with humans.
