  • Kim Kardashian filed court documents to become legally single Friday, a report says
  • Kardashian reportedly also asked to have her maiden name restored
  • She filed the paperwork just hours after Kanye West made another public plea to get back together with her

Kim Kardashian appears to have made it clear that she has no plans to rekindle her relationship with her estranged husband Kanye West amid his repeated public pleas to get back together with her.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum, 41, filed court documents to become legally single Friday, TMZ reported. If signed off by a judge, it will separate the issues of child custody and property from her marital status.

Kardashian also asked to have her maiden name restored, according to the report.

The outlet noted that Kardashian's lawyer is Laura Wasser, who has frequently made similar moves with other celebrity clients, including Dr. Dre and Kelly Clarkson. Separating marital status from other issues would allow both parties to move on from the relationship before the divorce is finalized, the report said.

Kardashian filed the paperwork just hours after West went on stage at the Free Larry Hoover concert at the Los Angeles Coliseum and professed his love for her.

While performing his track "Runaway," West, who legally changed his name to Ye, ad-libbed over vocals at the end of the song to say, "I need you to run right back to me, baby. More specifically, Kimberly."

Kardashian initially filed for divorce from the rapper on Feb. 19 after nearly seven years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. She requested joint legal and physical of their four children, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.

The exes were seemingly making progress on their separation, with Kardashian buying their shared Hidden Hills, California, home for $23 million in October. However, in November, West insisted that Kardashian is "still" his wife.

While appearing on the "Drink Champs" podcast, the musician said, "'cause she's still my wife, ain't no paperwork," and insisted that the two were not divorced.

However, an unnamed source told E! News at the time that Kardashian has no plans to reconcile with West. According to the insider, while she is aware of his feelings, the Skims founder "tried for a long, long time" to make their marriage work but had already "reached her breaking point."

Amid her divorce, Kardashian has recently been dating "Saturday Night Live" comedian Pete Davidson. The couple was first linked in October and has since been spotted spending time together on multiple occasions.
