Among all of her amazing blessings, reality TV star and multimedia business mogul Kim Kardashian West is very thankful for the existence of the 90’s pop group Spice Girls. Using some throwback photos, Kim also expressed her appreciation for Posh Spice, now known as Victoria Beckham.

The Thanksgiving holiday has arrived and Americans are taking to social media to express their gratitude for all the blessings that they have received in the past year and throughout their lives. In an unusual move, Kim didn’t mention her family in her first burst of Thanksgiving-related posts. Instead, she went all the way back to her high school days and opted to show off a photo of herself and her friends dressed as the popular girl group.

“I'm so Thankful that me & my friends were the Spice Girls for our high school talent show! The Spice Girls got me through a lot! #ForeverThankful,” said Kim. In the picture, Kim poses in a black body-hugging mini dress that’s reminiscent of Posh Spice. Her friends in turn, were dressed to look like Baby Spice, Scary Spice, Sporty Spice and Ginger Spice.

“I'm also thankful for Posh Spice!,” said Kim, as she posted a solo photo of herself from the said high school talent show. Posh Spice, whose real name was Victoria Adams, later went on to marry English footballer David Beckham. She is now known as fashion icon Victoria Beckham and moves in a lot of the same high society circles as Kim and her family.

Kim is currently spending a lot of time in bed after suffering excruciating pain in her stomach. She is just weeks away from giving birth to her second child with her husband Kanye West and the pregnancy has been difficult. Because of this, she explained in another post that she has had a lot of time to look through old photos.

A few days ago, she also shared a photo of herself and her sister, Khloe Kardashian. In that throwback shot, they were patronising a different 90’s pop group, the Backstreet Boys. Kim said that she and her sister attended a concert for her 18th birthday.
