Kody Brown shocked “Sister Wives” fans on Sunday night’s episode when he admitted he didn’t feel the same way about plural marriage as he used to, and two of his sister wives don’t appear to be supporting the way he acted during the episode.

Following the veto his wives gave him over living together in one house on the TLC series, Kody seemed particularly morose during the episode, as he was visibly upset that they had rejected the idea he proposed in favor of four separate homes on their Coyote Pass property. As the wives all made snow angels together, Kody was then heard shockingly saying he felt his wives were basically ganging up on him.

“We did an entire discussion about one home and I think there’s a tendency, especially with my presentation of this one house idea, where there’s sort of a loyalty bond that they get with each other,” he said during the episode. “It’s me or them.”

When it came to the one house proposal, the two wives who seemed vehemently against it were Christine and Robyn, his third and fourth wives, while second wife Janelle was for it and first wife Meri seemed more on the fence. Considering that Christine and Robyn appeared to agree on how much he didn’t like the idea, his comments may have seemed directly pointed at them, and neither woman held back as they live-tweeted the episode when critiquing their husband’s behavior.

“Polygamist Show [sp] Angels. You’re fine @realkodybrown!,” Christine tweeted. “Goodness. Whiny Baby Poopy Pants!”

She also criticized that Kody seemed to feel that they didn’t give the idea a fair shot either, writing that he preferred his wives to think exactly like him.

Robyn also went to social media with comments after Kody admitted that he didn’t like seeing his wives having fun together the same way he used to, indicating that because he didn’t get his way, he was lashing out.

“So let me get this straight...Kody used to like seeing us getting along but now because not all of us agreed on the one house idea he doesn’t like it? Hmmm... little baby brother much?” she wrote.

However, Kody seemed to indicate that while he did make the comments he did, they may have been taken out of context for the show’s editing purposes, as he also took to Twitter to respond to a fan who said they felt he was being made out to be a villain.

“Sister Wives” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
