Kourtney Kardashian took her family to Finland in order celebrate her 40th birthday. Her ex, Scott Disick, and his partner, Sofia Richie, were also invited to the trip.

Kardashian spent her birthday at the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel in Rovaniemi in Finland, Us Weekly reported. The Poosh founder’s children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, were also joined her on the getaway to celebrate their mother’s 40th birthday.

According to the designers of the hotel Studio Puisto Architects, Kardashian and her family stayed in the newly built executive suite cabins during their stay at the hotel.

Richie shared a picture of her trip to Finland with her fans on Instagram. The model bundled up with thick jacket and long boots to endure the cold weather conditions there. Among the fun things she did during the trip was snowmobiling.

Kardashian broke up with Disick back in 2015, but sources close to the reality TV star have confirmed that she meets with her ex and his partner Richie often. According to the insiders, the reality TV star and her ex are in a “good place.”

Sources have said that Richie joined Disick for the trip because she is considered a part of the family now. The insiders added that everyone “really likes” Richie, and the model is apparently “really sweet” and good with the kids.

While the children get to enjoy the family trips with their mother, they are also slowly playing a more active role in the popular reality TV series that the family is famous for. Kim Kardashian recently confirmed in a tweet that Kourtney’s son Mason will soon start giving interviews for the show.

Kim teased that the way they planned the confessions interviews of Mason was that instead of a producer asking questions, it will be Khloé sitting down with Kourtney’s son for the interview. Kim hasn’t seen the videos of what they have recorded, but she said that she heard they are “funny” and “heartwarming.”
