As anticipated, Kristen Stewart addressed her one-sided feud with President Donald Trump during her “Saturday Night Live” appearance on Feb. 4.

Stewart’s “SNL” opener kicked off with her joking about her promoting her 2008 film “Twilight” before explaining Trump’s issue with her. The 26-year-old actress told the NBC audience that in 2012, when she cheated on then-boyfriend Robert Pattinson, Trump immediately took issue with their decision to get back together.

“I’m a little nervous to be hosting because I know that the president is probably watching and I don’t think he likes me that much,” Kristen explained before reading several of Trump’s tweets about her and Pattinson’s romance aloud.

After reciting Trump’s comment that she treated her “Twilight” love interest like a “dog,” Stewart shared her thoughts on his obsession with the relationship. “I don’t think Donald Trump hated me. I think he’s in love with my boyfriend,” Kristen stated as the audience cheered.

“The president is not a huge fan of me but that is so OK and Donald, if you didn’t like me then, you’re really probably not going to like me now because I’m hosting ‘SNL’ and I’m like so gay dude,” she continued.

As previously reported, it was revealed in July 2012 that Stewart cheated on Pattinson, her boyfriend of three years, when photos of her kissing her married “Snow White the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders surfaced. Pattinson and Stewart rekindled their romance shortly after the scandal, much to Trump’s dismay, only for the couple to part ways in May 2013.

Pattinson is now engaged to be married to British singer FKA Twigs and Stewart is dating model Stella Maxwell.

“Saturday Night Live” airs on NBC.
