Two small planes crashed at an air show in Dittingen, Switzerland, on Sunday, killing at least one person, police said.

Two of three aircraft flying in formation crashed shortly before 5:30 a.m. EDT, Basel-Landschaft police said in a statement.

Swiss newspaper Blick reported that one pilot managed to escape by parachute.

At least seven people died when a jet aircraft plowed into several cars on a busy road near an airshow in southern England on Saturday.
